Welcome to the Election & Registration Office
The Office of Elections and Registration is accountable for the effective conduct of all elections and voter registration throughout the county. The staff complies with a broad spectrum of duties in assuring a smooth election process. Responsibilities include the processing and updating of registration records, finding polling places, instructing district boards for each election, preparing ballots, programming and maintenance of election machines, preparation of absentee ballots and certifying vote totals.
Important Dates
February 12, 2025 - Candidate petition packets will be available in the Monroe County Elections Office.
February 18, 2025 - The First Day for candidates to circulate and file petitions.
March 11, 2025 - The Last Day for candidates to circulate and file petitions.
