2017 State Fee Increase

The State has raised its Fees – Our New Fee Bill Attached

Anyone filing a new Civil, Orphans’ Court or Criminal actions in Monroe County – the Pennsylvania State Legislature raised their State Fees and the Bill was signed by Governor Wolfe.

 $4.75  INCREASE ON ALL CIVIL ACTIONS, ORPHANS’ COURT AND CRIMINAL

FILINGS AS OF 10/30/17

Acts 40 and 44 of 2017, recently signed by Governor Wolf, make several immediate changes to the Judicial Computer Project/Access to Justice/Criminal Justice Enhancement (JCP/ATJ/CJEA) surcharge by amending 42 Pa.C.S. § 3733.1 and 72 P.S. § 1795.1-E while enacting 71 P.S. § 2802-E. please note, that 42 Pa.C.S. § 3733 remains unchanged.

The AOPC notified us of the Fee changes after they went into effect.  

The new AOPC rates will be reflected in our fee bill on Monday, November 13, 2017. 

We will accept for filing any documents that are not are not accompanied by the new fees. You will be billed for the balance due, which will be payable within 30 days.

 Any documents presented for filing on or after December 1, 2017 will be rejected and returned if not accompanied by the full filing fee.
