There are three ways to apply for the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program: online, by mail, or in-person. Applicants are encouraged to apply online for the fastest review process.

PA-1000 RC -- PA Schedule RC
When to Submit
- If you are a renter
PA-1000 A -- PA Schedule A
- If the applicant owned more than one home during the application year
- If the applicant has passed away
PA-1000 B/D/E -- PA Schedule B/D/E
- If an applicant was a widow or widower aged 50 to 64 and remarried during the application year
- If a renter receives cash public assistance
- If part of the homestead was for purposes other than a residence, such as operating an in-home business or renting part of your residence
PA-1000 F/G -- PA Schedule F/G
- If more than one eligible person is on the deed or lease
- If an applicant is deceased
PA-1000 PS -- PA Schedule PS
- If an applicant is disabled, a physician must complete this form to confirm permanent and total disability
- If you are submitting on behalf of someone who has died
